Sumac got to play with some really cute girls the other day! Maybe some potential girlfriends for the future 👀

We took the boys and my friend's puppy, Brandy, to a lake to expend excess energy. It's clear they thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We are half way through our trip around the USA. Sorry I have been a little MIA. When we are not driving we are usually holed up somewhere without any signal. This trip has been one for the books so far. We have seen so many states already. Had our fair share of ups and downs. Sumac got injured at the same time of me having Covid. Boy has it been crazy. Now that we are on our second half of the trek let’s hope it goes a lot smoother!

Dogs as active as mine are bound to get hurt from time to time. Poor Atlas had the misfortune on that happening to him today. Idk how it happened since I do my best to avoid hot pavement. Maybe he had blisters before we started our herding lesson or Maybe just where he was running fast and stops on a dime. I’m glad I noticed his gate was off. And stopped him from continuing. Poor guy. He had a blast today otherwise. Vet said to just trim dead tissue and clean it daily. That being said I think atlas is eating up the extra pampering. Hims mommy’s baby for the next few days. I’ll keep you guys posted on the progress ❤️

As an owner of a couple anxious dogs myself, I will share this every year.

Quick PSA: During the Fourth of July holiday, and the days leading it up to it when folks start celebrating with noisy fireworks, scores of pets run away from the sights and sounds, making the day after Independence Day the busiest of the year for animal hospitals and shelters. Please do your due diligence. And if you feel as though your pet may need medication to help them relax during firework season, now is the time to speak with your veterinarian!

I am so proud of my boys and myself! Today I took my boys to a lesson with David Henry for herding. For there first lesson they did great! Atlas and Sumac both showed interest and i cannot wait for our next lesson!

Did someone say natural toothbrush for dogs? That’s right! Chicken feet have several benefits for dogs, whether it be knocking the plaque off of their teeth or being a great source of glucosamine. I am prepping a batch for the Woofstock event on Saturday!

We got some really exciting news today!!!!! Sumac is all clear on his OFA prelims! Cannot wait to retest in a year!

My sweet sumac is getting his prelim rads for OFAs today❤️ fingers crossed everything goes great!

Atlas went with us this weekend for some fun and he outdid himself! He set a new personal best of 18ft! Hard to believe this guy went from jumping 5ft for his first comp to jumping 18😮 proud of my goofy boy!

Sumacs first dock diving competition! Every jump he had he jumped bigger than the day before! He set his personal best for this weekend at 13ft 3 in. Double of what Atlas started out at when he first started. I have high hopes for this guy!!!!
