š Hi friends! Itās me, the girl behind the camera. For those of you who donāt know me, my name is Niki Baldwin and I LOVE documenting and protecting your memories!
šI was always fascinated with wedding announcements that would come in the mail and I liked going to receptions. Whenever there was a photographer around, I loved watching them work and seeing what camera they used (I still do this). When I was 14, and I was fortunate enough to go and assist a photographer during a wedding. My job was to help make sure the brideās dress looked and laid beautiful, the groomās jacket wasnāt flipped weird, and to help the photographer with anything that she needed. I was hooked! This was when I decided that I wanted to be a wedding photographer! Iāll never forget the following Christmas when my parents gave me my first digital point and shoot camera (my parents didnāt even have a digital camera). It was a Canon Powershot 3 megapixel. My dad told me that if I was serious about being a photographer, I needed the correct gear! š
Iāve come a LONG way since then! I donāt shoot your wedding/sessions on a point and shoot but with a 2 mirrorless cameras with duel card readers and save images as RAW files. I do everything in my power to protect YOUR memories because I know this is a once in a lifetime moment and if I miss documenting it then the memory is gone.
š„°Even after all this time, I still love and get excited about attending weddings (both local and out-of-state). And I am so honored every time a couple chooses me to protect their special day. I love every session and wedding that I have been apart of and Iām excited for the all the couples that I have and will be working with in 2024-2025! ā¤ļø I still have lots of availability but dates are filling up fast. Send me a DM or fill out my Contact Form and letās starts making memories!

Engagement sessions are a perfect trial run for working with your photographer. Not only do you get to know each other but you get to see their workflow, become comfortable in front of the camera, and will see their edits/style on pictures of you. These sessions tend to be more laid back, fun, and the images are typically used for Save the Dates and Announcements. Plus, you have additional photos that you can decorate your reception and home with!
Itās wedding day for these two! So excited to see what my associate documents today. Congratulations Katie + Will!

ā¤ļø Valentines Day is tomorrow! Not sure about you but my hubby & I donāt typically give each other gifts and flowers for this holiday. Instead we usually make time for each other. Snuggle, talk, laugh, kiss. We use this time to reconnect with each other. Usually over Costa Vida because that was our first Valentineās Dinner togetherš
You should be so proud of me, Iām not a big reader but Iāve listened to not one BUT two books in the past week. Iām able to use my library card through and check out books to listen while I edit.

šŖ“All about the details!!! You spend so much time picking out all the perfect details of wedding, why not have them photographed?! You probably have heard photographers say āFlat Laysā but not sure what that means. It simply means āa photo of objects arranged on a flat surface, captured from directly above. Some people refer to this angle as a birdās eye view, and itās a great way to showcase everythingā. Because Iām here to protect memories, that includes all the details like your invitations, perfume, jewelry, love notes, shoes, cuff links, and anything else that is important for you to have on your special day!
Hi friends š Itās me, Niki and I am the owner and girl behind the camera! I want everything to be perfect on your wedding day that I will make sure doors are shut and things are moved out of the way so not only will all the attention will be on you but that there is nothing distracting in the background of your photos. Thanks for seconding for me and capturing this raw moment of things I quietly do for my clients.
š Spring will be here before you know it! Donāt wait till last minute to secure your photographer. When the weather turns nice, our schedules book up really fast! I suggest to get on your photographerās calendar now and then you can adjust dates at a later time if there is still snow or itās raining.

Weāve been super busy the past couple of days! Josh, his dad, brother, and brother-in-law have been framing our basement. Iām also watching Sarahās kids (which we are so excited to have them because we have missed them so much since they moved). Since the kids havenāt been able to play in the basement (which normally is their playground), I brought them to the Ogden Tree House Museum and currently trying to write this while keeping an eye on them. Needless to sayā¦.its super loud at my house and I havenāt really been able to post or do updates on my website & blogš¤Ŗ
āļø Got an email today about the Midway Ice Castles opening on January 15th and I couldnāt help but reminisce about this beautiful session.

I had plan on doing this amazing reel showing all the adventures, weddings, and photos sessions that Iāve done this past year. But with me being sick this past week-it just didnāt happenš
But WOW! 2023 has been a great year! I photographed weddings in 4 different states, had just over 60 sessions/weddings, been featured on blogs and magazines, got a new website and rebranded my business logo from the amazing , and met so many amazing people, couples and families!
Iām excited for 2024 and some new adventures and goals that are in the works. Hope you have a wonderful New Year and look forward to working with you š«¶
Antibiotics feel like they are starting to kick in for my sinus infection. Thank goodness for modern medicine! Iām still super exhausted, super congested and coughing BUT better then I have been the last few days. Thank you everyone for the kind words and wishing me to get better soon š«¶
