Holy cow.... things do not always go as planned! Little cow lost his cool before the party and had a tragic breakdown. Drove 45 minutes to the location and found his head in 2 pieces... and I was able to get him more presentable (Not perfect) before the party. But in the end, the birthday girl thought he was perfect. Luckily, not something that happens often, but it's cake so it can happen.

It's a nightmare after Christmas!

Did a little baking and decorating at the office

So it was one of those cake days. Had a 35th anniversary cake and she wanted it inspired by her original cake. And then there was a disaster. From left To right and top to bottom... original cake...the cake after it was complete...the picture I got at 10pm last night... and the final product after two hours of disaster work this morning. Not perfect but usable. Luckily these times are rare! In sure most cake people wouldn't post a disaster, but proof you can put lipstick on a pig.

I wasn't in town so i made Thanksgiving for Bear and Wade to thaw and cook. Bear had his own Thanksgiving... ground turkey, sweet potatoes with dog treat crumble topping, pumpkin pie with peanut butter cookie crust and dog treat crumble, and plain cornbread dressing. Of course wade had his own spread.
