SERVICE/CELEBRATION DETAILS: For those who knew and loved Tom Hanlon (passed on July 22, 2023), our beloved friend, husband to Ros, and bandmate to the PGB and others, a funeral service has been scheduled for Saturday 8/26 at 3:00 p.m. St. Phillips Lutheran Church, 6200 N. Kings Hwy in Myrtle Beach. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday 8/27 at the Dead Dog Saloon in Murrells Inlet from 12-noon to 4 p.m. Please attend one or both of these events as we remember and celebrate together his amazing life.

This evening, we opened the Muzika! 2023 Festival with a world premiere of JAC Redford’s Symphony #2 and Muzika Fanfare at The Koger Center for the Arts. Bravo to the phenomenal performers. Join us for the same performance at The Miller Theater on Sunday, June 25

Artist Feature: Kirsten Blair 🌸✨

Kirsten Blair enjoys a vibrant musical lifestyle as a soloist, performer, and instructor. Based primarily in Alaska, she earned her DMA in Voice at Arizona State University in 2022. A featured soloist internationally and throughout the USA, her appearances include France’s Théâtre Roger Barat, the Lowveld Chamber Music Association and Uplands Festival Orchestra in South Africa, Zimbabwe’s Music Inspire Africa, Arizona Women’s Collaborative, Luxembourg’s Vianden Festival, and the AIMS: Graz Festival Orchestra–appearing most recently in a collaboration between Phoenix Symphony and Ballet Arizona. This is her first experience with VIMA and she is excited to explore, perform, and connect with the musical scene in South Carolina.
