Our Founder

Hello! My name is Andy Dinkin. Thanks for wanting to learn more about THE SEALS!

I am the child of a small business owner. Growing up in the Washington, DC area, I started shoveling snow for my neighbors at age 10 and started pumping gas at 14. I understand the struggles and triumphs of running a small business and I’ve spent most of my career building my own businesses and teaching others to successfully grow theirs.

My athletic experience shaped the principles by which I live and run The Seals: Honesty, Teamwork, and a Positive Attitude. I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill {Go Tarheels} on a football scholarship. I have made my home in the Charlotte, NC area for more than 23 years.

Building THE SEALS

In 2010, I bought a small business which I and my team have grown to become THE SEALS. We manufacture and supply refrigeration gaskets and other ancillary services to restaurants, supermarkets, nursing homes, and schools.

The best part of this business is the incredible team I’ve assembled. The underpinnings are strongly in place for tremendous growth in our corporate footprint of NC, SC, GA, & VA and we will begin selling franchise opportunities in 2019.
