The before and after photos demonstrate our thorough preparation process for a project in the Lakeview neighborhood, involving power washing and staining of a pergola and deck railings. Our attention to detail ensures the removal of old stain, resulting in a pristine surface for the application of oil-based stain, which will transform the pergola into a brand-new feature of the outdoor space.
Still a long way to go with this project. However, as you can see, the primer is already making a huge difference.
Our friends at Nook Child Care in West Town received a small project from us that involved patching walls and painting a few green-colored walls a lighter and softer hue of green, as seen in the before and after shots.
Ace's Full House Paint & Home Service provides expert power washing services for various surfaces, including wooden decks and concrete patios, to remove dirt, grime, and stains, ensuring a clean and pristine appearance.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mom's out there! We appreciate you for everything you do!
One of our repeat clients had us freshen up the interior common area of one of their buildings. Initially, this project called for all of the interior base trim, door trim, and door casings to be painted Caviar Black. However, the client had a change of heart. After seeing the black trim, they wanted to keep the black shade on the entryway door as well as the entry door trim. We were asked to paint the rest of the trim and door casings back to white. All trim was sprayed on using Sherwin Williams Emerald urethane trim paint.
The walls were painted Kestrel White from Sherwin Williams and we used their duration line of paint for the fresh coat.
After we finished sanding, wood filling, caulking, more sanding, and finally some masking, this trim and door were ready for some paint. White trim was repainted "caviar" which is a shade of black.
We primed and sprayed 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Emerald trim paint for the trim top coats.
Next week we are painting some ceilings and walls at the same property.
Final photos will be posted early next week when we complete this project.

This small office space was calling for a change of color. The Phone Booth Red was replaced with Sage Tint. The primer was Sherwin Williams Extreme Block and the paint used for this project was Sherwin Williams Duration in a satin finish.

After grinding away the rusted areas, a little power washing and a couple coats of DTM alklyd enamel these stairs are looking good as new.
The rust removal process we used on the landings and stair treads involved several rounds of naval jelly, wire brush scrubbing and buffing, power washing and finally a few coatings of DTM Alkld paint. We made this metal structure look brand new.
We will post more photos of this project in the coming days.
These are some before, progress and after shots of a job that we are working on in the neighborhood of Logan Square.
The fence and gates had considerable amounts of rust, algae build up and a lot of areas that had been touched up with paint that didn't match the rest of the fence.
We removed rust buildup with a few different methods. These methods included grinding/polishing flap discs, wire brushes, naval jelly, scrapers and sand paper. All areas of concern were prepped and cleaned before they were primed.
We used Kem Bond primer to cover the exposed metal.
For the top coats, we used Acrylic DTM enamel from Sherwin Williams.
After photos and a bunch of photos taken before and during the process.
Not only did we power wash, sand, and reseal these decks and fence, we also replaced a few top rails as well as some deck boards.
These wooden surfaces are now clean and protected for a few more years.
After and before shots of a job that was completed in the neighborhood of North Edgebrook.
The rooms pictured both got a dual color change. Navajo White white was the common color in both rooms while Hannah Banana and Egyptian Clay brought color to each respective space.
Getting this front porch prepped before it gets sealed.
Today we power washed this porch 3 times and used a deck wash to clean off all the layers of mold, mildew, and algae that had grown on it over the course of time.
Once dried, it will get sanded throughly before any sealer/stain is applied.
After, progress, and before photos of a job that we completed last week in the Village of Niles.
Besides the paint job. We sanded all the previously installed wood to remove coats of polyurethane before installing new base shoe. We then used wood filler to fill in all nail hopes and applied caulk. The trim and walls were then masked so that we could spray prime and spray top coat the trim with two coats of paint.
The walls had been prepped by another contractor before we took the project over. However, we also had to do some additional patching and sanding to get the walls to an acceptable state. Once that was done, patched areas were primed and the walls were rolled out with two coats of paint.
A deck seal and stain that we completed last week in the Avondale neighborhood.
Before the stain was applied, the deck was treated with a deck cleaner before being power washed. The deck was then given two weeks to dry out. At that point, the deck, the rail caps and the stair treads we all sanded. All sawdust was removed before stain was applied.
This job's scope was only for the horizontal areas such as the stair treads, decking, and rail caps. However, we also touched up the joist box, the posts and a few of the spindles.
After, progress, and before shots of a wooden deck that we just stained amd sealed in the Ukrainian Village neighborhood.
It had been some time since this deck had some care. After a good power wash, the deck was sanded. After sanding, we used tack cloth to remove any saw dust on the surface areas. We then taped and masked off the deck for staining. We used a semi solid stain by Cabot. The color the customer chose was Oak Brown.
This deck now looks great!
These walls were horribly dirty. They simply looked bad.
Now, these walls look brand new and they simply look great!
