💗 Water Llama! 💗
I absolutely LOVE this app. It reminds me to drink water, encourages me and makes me giggle! You get a different animal every day that fills up with water, coffee, green drink or whatever you’re drinking. Sometimes I look at my animal and I’m like, seriously, I only drank 10 oz of water today? I need to drink water! LOL! It was $10 and totally worth it!

Where focus goes, energy flows.
Think about it: If you’re ruminating on how someone at your job was rude to you, took credit for your idea, or left you out of an important decision, what state are you most likely going to be in?
A pi**ed off one.
And if you focus on how someone has taken advantage of you or screwed you over, you’re going to feel it, even if it’s not true.
How many negative emotions do you experience in a day due to focusing on situations that create states of fear, anger, and overwhelm?
What if you focused on what’s working instead? What kind of state would you be in if you thought about all the GOOD things happening to you throughout the day?
What kind of emotions would you feel if you thought about a warm interaction you had with a manager or colleague, one where your skills and passion felt seen and valued?
Or a moment where your team crossed the finish line together on a big project and celebrated?
Or a loved one’s face lit up because of something kind you did or said?
How different is life experiencing that state?
What you focus on is everything.
In today’s world everyone is competing for your attention, and they’re aiming to profit from it.
Social media, the news...
But it’s up to you to direct where your focus goes, friend.
Control your focus, control your life.

How fast can you change your state, my friend? In a heartbeat.
It’s where the radical change in physiology (your voice, your body, your movement) altars your biochemistry.

When it comes to changing your physiology, if you change it a little bit, you barely feel it. But if you change it a lot, you’ll feel a total biochemical change.

But you can also do it by changing your focus.
Is there an area of your life that could use a state change?
Maybe it’s in the way you show up at work or in meetings.
Or maybe it’s the state you walk in the door with after a long day. The one your partner and kids are met with.
Or maybe it’s that dream you’ve been holding on to – your life at the next level – that requires a different state, my friend.
Change is always available to you, and it starts with your physical body and your focus.
Here’s to living in an empowered state.

Do you want to be “cool” or do you want to be “happy”? Getting real here. We’re divorced from experiencing and feel empty because feeling the water flowing on our skin when we wash our hands isn’t “impressive”. Just feel the water. It’s amazing When you allow the feeling of the water flowing onto your hands to be really experienced, you feel full and satisfied. When you look into someone’s eyes and give them your full attention, YOU feel satsfied and nurished. When you feel the fabric or your clothes on your skin, when you taste your food… all of this nurishes you emotionally, spiritually. When i get out of my head and into my senses, i feel satisfied. I appreciate everything. I am here. I am living.

Shrimp & Clam Riced Cauliflower!

Healthy, alkaline-keto dish. 😀 Here's the recipe...

12 oz medium cleaned but uncooked shrimp ( can be frozen or fresh), 24 oz frozen riced cauliflower, 2 small cans of whole or chopped clams ( will be 5.5 or 6 oz each) , 2 garlic cloves 2 tbs fresh chopped parseley, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp pimenton ( paprika), 1/4 tsp crushed red spicy pepper.

Coat bottom of large pot with olive oil. Mince 2 garlic cloves and heat garlic till you smell it warming up. Don’t let it brown.
Add clams with the juice. Add salt. The clams are salty so 1/4 tsp may be enough. Add chopped parseley. Pour in the frozen cauliflower “rice” and stir. Reduce 1/2 the liquid. Stir occasionally. If you’re using fresh shrimp ( not frozen) reduce 3/4 of liquid. Add shrimp and stir. The shrimp won’t need much liquid to cook. When they are pink you’re done! Chop a bit more parsley to sprinkle over the top. Enjoy!

Collard Greens & Swiss Chard with Garlic, Red Onion and Capers

Here's the recipe...

Cut or tear stems off greens, wash and chop. Coat the bottom of a large pot with organic olive oil. Dice 1/4 of a large red onion. Crush two cloves of garlic with a large spoon or a French knife. Remove garlic skin. Sauté the onions and garlic in the olive oil until the onions are translucent. Add a 1/2 teaspoon of salt and add about 6 ounces of water to the pot and stir. Add greens, turning them to make sure they are covered in the oil and water mixture. With a medium flame keep turning the greens so they cook evenly. When they are nearly the consistency that you like add two or 3 teaspoons of capers. Turn and cook until the greens are at desired softness you can add some crushed red pepper if you’d like as well. Enjoy!😀

Roasted Brocciolini (Baby Broccoli). So good. Healthy, alkaline and keto friendly.

Here's the recipe...

Oven-safe pan or on rack if you have. Cut off stems to about size in the plated photo ( not rack photo) cause the bottoms are tough. Drizzle olive oil. Sprinkle sea salt, garlic powder and black pepper. Set oven on broil but place on a middle rack. Check at 4 minutes to see if tender. Cut a piece to test. If not, cook it 1-3 minutes more. If you want to crisp it up a little, move to top rack for 30-60 seconds. Squeeze a little fresh lemon or lime all over if you have some. You can also sprinkle or grate real Parmesan or Peccorino cheese on top. Use REAL cheese though. 😃

OMG! I’ve been pouring my morning coffee over a piece of star anise. If you like anisette, sambuca or licorice, this is amazing and it’s low glycemic. Yay!

And of course it’s non alcoholic.

I use only a tiny piece. The whole star here is just to make the photo pretty.
