My name is Meg, and my business name was created by making an anagram of my first and middle names (my middle name is Elaine which I share with my mom and grandmother). I am a proud citizen of Red Lake Nation, and in addition to my Ojibwe ancestry, I have mixed European ancestry primarily from Germany, Russia/Eastern Europe, England, and Ireland. I aim to honor my Indigenous heritage through my work, and am inspired by the healing aspects of beadwork and my personal connections with relatives. ♥️

When I am not beading, I am likely outside at as a nature-based educator, or at as a bookseller. When I’m not working, I love cuddling and playing with my dog Ziggy, spending time with my family, and appreciating the simple moments of life. 🌲

I appreciate your patience as I navigate the balancing act of wearing different hats, and finding what works best for this sweet beading business. For now, in addition to occasional website releases and open-studio tours, you can find my work at , , , , and 🛍️

After my first bout with Covid this past month (it was a doozy), I am SO grateful I am able to leave the house again and participate in Open Casket this year! I am looking forward to seeing some art lovers for this festive fall gathering. 🥳
