One of our local projects in Rochester has been the restoration of the Plummer House. We are pleased that the Parks and Recreation department has moved forward with the long overdue restoration of the Plummer Water tower. The exterior was the focus this fall. A new roof has been completed, with the balconies and wood trim up next. Our understanding that the interior will be worked on next summer! Kudos to Mike Nigbur of Rochester Parks and Recreation for his work (and doggedness) in shepherding this project through.

Good news from the Minnesota State Historic Preservation Office this morning. The nomination our company recently wrote with LHB has formally been approved by the National Park Service! Congratulations to Jane Bisel who went above and beyond to research and write this National Register nomination!!

The SHPO State Review Board has approved our National Register of Historic Places nomination for the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church of Embarrass, MN. Next stop is the final review by the National Park Service. Fingers crossed!
We are pleased our National Register of Historic Places nomination for the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church in Embarrass, MN has been reviewed by the State Historic Preservation Office staff. The nomination will now be reviewed by the State board. After that review and if approved, the nomination will be sent to the NPS for final review and designation. The author of the nomination, Jane Bisel, has done exception work.
We are pleased the Minnesota Historic Tax Credit has been reauthorized for another 8 years!
Good news - SISU Heritage has hired LHB, Inc. and BPMC to write a National Register nomination for the Finnish Apostolic Lutheran Church in Embarrass, Minnesota. This is a great project and we are looking forward to starting it soon.
