❗️Did you know that greyhounds are considered universal blood donors? There are 12 different blood types in dogs, and 85% of greyhounds have a blood type that allows their blood to be used in ALL other dogs!
A single greyhound blood donation can save up to 4 dogs, and through the Greyhound Health Initiative Blood Donor Program, doggy donors can receive free pet care such as flea & tick & heartworm prevention, exams, bloodwork, etc. in exchange for a blood donation.
Legs for days AND doggy life savers. Who knew!

Seeking a personal assistant to help out with a wide range of duties. The ideal candidate will be hard working, dependable and trustworthy.
I own and operate a large pet care company, work a separate highly demanding full time job, I'm a single parent to an energetic 4 year old, and help care for an elderly family member who lives with me about 75% of the time.
I am need of someone that is able and willing to pitch in with:
- Caregiving/babysitting for my son and father when I'm not available.
- Running errands and when needed picking my son up at day care and/or taking my father to and from doctor appointments.
- Regular cleaning of a 4 bedroom house.
- Feeding and letting my dogs out
- Other mixed duties as they come up.
There is also an opportunity to make additional money working for my dog walking company during the day.

Prairie Path Pet Care was started by its founder, Shawn Frick. If you ever get the chance to know Shawn, you’d learn how important it is to him to align his work with something he is passionate about. Shawn spent 10 years grooming and growing his dream, dealing with the challenges and risks that come with entrepreneurship. Once a few doors opened in 2011 the vision became clear, and the opportunity possible. After careful planning, it was in 2013 that Prairie Path Pet Care first opened for business and started caring for the pets of Wheaton, IL and its surrounding cities. Now, having celebrated 6 plus years of 5 star rated service, he and Team Prairie Path now enjoy the rewards of delivering the best in pet care to animals and their owners through Prairie Path. The success in Wheaton was so overwhelming that it allowed PPPC to take our industry leading, next level pet care to Crystal Lake, IL, Park Ridge, IL, Geneva, IL and even out-of-state down in Nashville, TN.
Our mission? We’re a local business, owned, managed and staffed by pet lovers who understand the importance of treating animals like they’re part of the family. We live in the neighborhoods we service and we offer the most professional and reliable pet care of its kind in the Chicagoland and Nashville area.
