From my family to yours - Happy Holidays!!

I’ve been reluctant to share this.

The past few months have not been easy. My friend of 15 years, the furry love of my life, has been through a lot and the most recent diagnosis is terminal.

As much as my heart is breaking, I am not sharing this to upset you or to solicit your sympathy but rather as an encouragement and inspiration for you, for me, for all of us to:

* pause and be more present this holiday season,
* hold our loved ones a little closer and hug them a little tighter,
* smile a little bigger and love a bit bolder,
* loosen up our hearts and find the joy in the little things.

Life is short, goes by too fast, and works in mysterious ways. I am grateful that for the first time since I moved to the US, I get to have parents for the holidays, that Aya (even though this might be her last holiday with us) gets to have not 2 hands but 6 hands on deck rubbing her little butt and giving her her favorite treats.

We run so fast sometimes chasing goals, chasing dreams, chasing approval, checking things off of our lists... that we forget to pause, look around, and sit in gratitude for the love and the beauty that surrounds us. We fail to recognize our accomplishments and the people (and the furry friends) who have helped us and supported us along the way.

Thank you! Thank you for choosing to work with me - a girl that came to the US from a far-flung tiny country who once felt like she was nobody and had nothing. Thank you for supporting my dream, a dream that once seemed unachievable and out of reach.

Thank you for choosing my company and my products to gift to your special ones and with that for sharing something made by me on your special celebrations. I hope you know that I pour my love into every product I create and hope that that love reaches you and your loved ones.
