The Windrider Institute, Sundance FF official partner, awarded my film, To My Father, their 2024 Triumph Award. It was a huge honor to have attended in Park City and a real blessing to be considered a part of their community now.

Thrilled to share that my short film, To My Father, has made its public debut on Youtube. This short doc is the story of acclaimed actor (CODA) Troy Kotsur and his dad, Len.

When Troy received his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in 2022 he became the first male deaf actor to win an Academy Award.

In his speech, which he dedicated to his dad, he opened the door to their amazing relationship.

It premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in June and has since garnered acclaim across the country at Heartland's Indy Shorts (Overall Audience Choice), LAIFF (Best Short Doc), Mesa IFF (Best Short Doc), Anthem FF (Grand Prize)...

Perhaps the most exciting for me is our upcoming screening at The Windrider Summit & Sundance Film Festival Experience in January.

This film is the fruit of my collaboration with the talented team at Emergent Order Foundation along with Cinematographer brody carmichael, and Composer Hanan Townshend.

I hope you can take a moment to watch this film in a comfortable setting with family and friends, if possible. I know that's hard these days but at least make it a moment for yourself.
