This Sunday Alex and I are taking you to a hell of a Tuscan cheese cave. One of the oldest and I mean.. look at those shapes of Pecorino!!! ALL NEW CIAO HOUSE at 9PM ON SUNDAY on Food Network

You wouldn’t think as FRIED CHICKEN 🐓🍗 or ‘POLLO FRITTO’ as a very Tuscan dish but it’s actually the product of a centuries-old Italian Jewish community that is almost completely gone today. My grandmother would marinate the chicken with lemon juice and garlic, then battered and fried it in a simple dredging of flour and egg. The bright citrus cutting through all those greasy layers and She would religiously serve it with a heaps of fried herbs and garlic on top. Not gonna tell you what to do this weekend…but if you get hungry grab a cold beer and make some POLLO FRITTO. This is #BEHINDTHESAUCE good. (RECIPE IN THE COMMENTS)
