As winter approaches homeowners should be aware that cold weather can also cause moisture damage to your home.

In summertime hot, humid air infiltrates from the attic into the home colliding with cold air and creating moisture.

In winter, the same process occurs with cold air from the attic colliding with hot air in the home.

During the wintertime if you notice high humidity inside your home, your builder may have sold you a defective home that could develop mold within two years of the build.
