How The Organization Started

Mrs. Hampton was lead by God to begin ministering to women who lived in local shelters and transitional homes in 2013. Each gathering would start with a prayer and bible study which allowed Mrs. Hampton to become a spiritual mentor to these amazing women, and out of this ministry came the birth of Women Helping Women in Need. In 2014, Mrs. Hampton planned, organized and implemented her first women's retreat and invited all the women she mentored at the local shelters and transition homes to be her guest. The women's retreats have been blessed with guest speakers who have inspired and motivated the women about aspects of their lives from health, financial to spiritual awareness. As a Sunday school teacher and now an Evangelist Missionary, Mrs. Hampton has a great passion to minister to women from all walks of life and ethnic background and has a special connection to women ages 18 to 40. Mrs. Hampton’s ministry goes far beyond the walls of a church building with a desire to help meet women at their need.

Our mission at Women Helping Women In Need, is to be the bridge between hope and possibility. Through our resources and self help programs, we empower women to take control of their lives and get back on track from life issues. We inspire women to live out their God given purpose in life.
