These are the last 2 registration dates before school starts. Please make plans to get your children registered. You will need to exercise patience as the lines will probably be long. If you have already registered your students, you should have been given your child's teacher assignment, and will see you for Meet the Teacher on August 6th.

Gilliard Elementary School is excited to be partnering with Secret Scientist🐊💚

Super happy to announce that the SS Foundation x School Spirit Pack will partner with 20+ schools and organizations this Fall. We will be providing a uniform option as well as mentoring, fundraisers, and tutoring. Each school will get a percentage of all sales to improve their school in whatever way is needed. We are working on a lot of initiatives to impact students in a positive way.

Merchandise will be available in August. The items are open to students, staff, and parents. The more support your school gets the more we can pour back into the school.

We will also be providing sports uniforms, cap and gowns, and class/championship rings. It’s an honor to be able to create new memories with the students while enhancing student life through clothing.

2024-2025 Uniform Policy
The policy states no writing on the outside of uniforms, but this does not apply to monogramming. Students are allowed to have their uniform shirts monogramed with their initials. Please be sure and read the policy carefully because it will be strictly enforced this year. Feel free to call the school with any questions or concerns. Thank you!

Good afternoon parents! Please see the information in the flyer below for Kindergarten registration. This registration date is specifically for accepted PreK and incoming Kindergarten students. It is very important that you make every effort to clear your schedules and get your child registered before the first day of school. If you have already completed online registration and submitted paperwork to Mrs. Griffin you are good to go. We currently already have 56 Kindergarten students registered which is GREAT compared to this time last year. Should you have any questions or concerns, please call the school at (251) 221-1820.

During Summer Camp, our students have the pleasure of seeing the life cycle of a butterfly. Everyone week, they noticed the different stages of a butterfly: caterpillar, chrysalis, butterfly 🐛 🦋

Today, we released our butterflies.

SUMMER SCHOOL INFORMATION
Just a reminder Summer School registration for Griggs, Nan Gray Davis Elementary , Burroughs Elementary School , Meadowlake Elementary School , Hollinger's Island Elementary School , & Gilliard Elementary School will be held at Griggs on Wednesday, June 26th from 7:30am-1:30pm.
