J&H PT is excited to announce that our pelvic health therapist, Jess Hissam, DPT, has earned her PCES! After 10 months of continuing education, Jess is now a certified Prenatal and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist through Sarah Duvall, PT, DPT, CPT (Core Exercise Solutions). Jess learned in depth how to serve her patients who are pregnant and postpartum by altering their functional movement patterns, improving strength and posture and decreasing their pain through different movement pattern assessments and treatment. Jess treats p***c symphysis dysfunction, sacroiliac pain, round ligament pain and other pelvic pain issues. Jess also manages pelvic prolapse in prenatal and postpartum patients. She feels it is vital to teach her patients how to move their bodies effectively in everyday life! Congrats Jess!

Last day for Bill Griffin for awhile. We have been blessed to have him at Putnam Physical Therapy and will miss him terribly. .

How great it is, finally! On my first visit, I was so weak and unstable. A plan was developed for me to increase strength, mobility, and stability. It is so amazing to be able to walk, stand, and accomplish everyday routine tasks for living. To transition from hopelessness to great confidence and peace is almost unexplainable. It has been a tremendous journey. I cannot express how much gratitude I have for all the efforts that Erin and Chelsea have shown in my visits.
