PARVO is still circulating like wildfire at several shelters 😞. Unfortunately this does affect me being able to connect with SOME shelters next week in person to do outings, as they are not allowing visitors of any kind.

This includes: Dinwiddie, Hopewell, Henrico, These local shelters all are battling the deadly virus, and have already had dogs sadly not be strong enough to fight through 😥

I will be heading to RAL, and Col. Heights Shelter to take some pups out for pup cups, play, photos, and whatever else we can do to help get them adopted

Let's continue to support the shelters, and our veterinarians, volunteers, staff members, and fosters who are all doing their best to help battle against PARVO and do as much as they can. ❤️

Finished the first Cat Treasure Box for Smitty's cat rescue shelter 💛 filled with tons of toys, treats, and other goodies for adopters and fosters.

In memory of my sweet boy Zander ❤️

I'll be dropping off bins and boxes next week to selected shelters/rescues once we get Zander's name painted on them with his photo and information about the program! 🐾🐾

Vaccinate people. Did you know PARVO is spread by f***l contact with infected soil/grass/other dog that has it?
So basically let's say a little stray abandoned pup has never been vaccinated, it goes to an area where you walk your unvaccinated dog, and it p**ps. Well that p**p that contains PARVO seeps into the ground, that same ground you take Fido for walks, Fido loves to eat the grass right there, BOOM Fido now has PARVO.

BUT before symptoms start showing you take Fido to a park, where he p**ps, you don't clean it up, and then it spreads to that park..

Do you see where I'm going?

It's not just dogs, Cats also can get PARVO that's referred to as FVP.

So, do your part. Please.
