I have been leaving food every evening for a possum that hung out in the barn last winter. Today this guy came from the barn and scrambled under the back screened in porch. I have not seen the possum for more than a month. Thinking this ground hog is getting the grub.

Heifers - farm & garden - by owner - sale Three beef heifers, open at present. All were born unassisted on pasture in the fall of 2020. They are docile and from a calving ease bull.

Put out extra hay last night. Cattle can create plenty of heat from the carbs in the hay. This is Rita May with her September 9,2021 bull calf Royce. So far he's a very good calf. Time wi tell but for now he is tagged as a herd bull replacemrnt.

Gun season started this past Monday. I am all for keeping the deer population in check but have my farm posted no hunting, have a friend who has deer cams all over the place. He also has exclusive rights to hunt the farm.He is very careful. I bring the cattle to the house pastures to keep them out of the way. Over the years we have had one horse and two cows shot by hunters. You can't be too careful.
