A historical & artistic look at an everyday appliance. These are well made machines of days gone by.

More toasters just listed on EBay!!! The brown trimmed on is a Faultless. The next one is a Patrician by Bersted and lastly an Unknown deco toaster. These can be bought directly from me if there are no bids or watchers on eBay yet. Gotta move some product, help me out!
Just listed these on EBay .
Selling this really nice travel iron w/box on Ebaycurrently.
Hotpoint Travel Iron 113F22 w/Box Vintage Antique Collectible | eBay A great little travel iron made by Edison Electric Appliance Co. In good to very good condition and still in the original box. The colorful box is a great plus. Special instructions on one end and model info on the other.
Looking for a vintage toaster for your 50s-60s kitchen? Well I've Got The Toasterz! These are for sale currently.
Looking for a 1930s-1940s style toaster? Well I've Got The Toasterz! These are all for sale. Some are working , some are not. They could be repaired but not by me. I do not recommend these for everyday use, most have no on/off switch. You plug them in and they're on , you unplug them they're off. I recommend them as display only. I also will test them but do NOT guarantee them. These are close to 100 years old. The perfect decoration for your vintage kitchen!
Dug out more treasures and have sold some already. 1, 2, 4 & 11 are gone. Get 'em while you can. Thanks to Christopher for getting 3 of these today. Number 11 ( Challenge) is an unusual toaster is heading overseas.
More stuff to sell. They are on Ebay or will be soon. You can contact me directly as well.
Another vintage toaster for sale on Ebay. This one is in great condition. It's a Handy Hot flopper style.
A couple more unearthed treasures, both new , never used. Just put on Ebay. Gotta slim down the collection.
I have these & many more for sale after finding 12 boxes of toasters in a storage unit that I closed down. These are on eBay now or I can sell directly to you if there is no action on them. Schwebels , black German toaster & coffee pot are sold.
The Universal brand appliances displayed by TCA were manufactured by Landers, Frary & Clark, a prominent company in New Britain, Connecticut. With a diverse product line of over 4,000 items, small appliances accounted for only a small portion of their overall production.
This was my display at the 2024 TCA. It's a Gold Dot Porcelier set. It won Most Toastworthy Display.
Some things I have sold on EBay in the last few months. The Wagner waffle iron & the electric irons are still available the other items are all sold.
Decided to put this up for sale. I am trying to streamline my toaster collection and this is not in my main collecting lane. If interested check it out in my auctions under seller - Chromefetish.
Currently selling these at very reasonable prices on EBay. These are Barock Gold Dot by Porcelier. Made from the 30's-50's. All in great condition.
These are some 70's German Pop-ups . I love the style and bright colors. From left to right : Privileg, Brown is not marked, Privileg, WKM( green) BBC. I hope you like these !
I'm showing off my Armstrong Perc O Toasters today. I have them in white , plain metal , black. All are listed as Model PT. They use the unique Armstrong cord but on these they use a double plug. These were made in Huntington , West Virginia. These are the only colors I've ever seen in the Perc O Toasters. Let me know if you have or have seen a different color. The name badge is conveniently located behind the handle so photographing them was a bit difficult. The last model black with copper trim, I only have the base. The painting on the top of a rooster is a mystery as well. Perhaps the rest was lost & they decorated it. Anyone else have this model? Always looking for different models of the Armstrong line. Contact me if you have an unusual one in any of their lines.
I was just thinking of the difference between porcelain toasters like Porcelier and what could have been a great modern day toaster the Fiesta . If they would have made these toasters out of porcelain or china like the dinnerware I would have snapped those up in as many colors as I could find but alas they made them in plastic. These were made in the early 2000's in 5 or 6 colors. This was the only one I had. They were around $ 50 at the time. These would have been 3 to 4 times more expensive if there were a porcelain toaster but oh so cool. I have given this to my sister in law who is a big Fiesta Ware collector.
Something I picked up many years ago on EBay was the advertising sign. Interestingly there is no on off switch. Just plug it in and it lights up. This was probably used in a store to call attention to the Universal toasters. I have the matching toaster, coffee pot , sugar & creamer plus matching tray. This makes a nice display.
The Hostess double sandwich toasters were made by All Rite Co. from Rushville, Indiana. The doubles were made in every size as the single sandwich toasters but are much harder to find. I believe there were 11 different colors / patterns. These are the only ones I've been able to find so far..... The flowered one I purchased a number of years ago from Helen Greguire and was featured in her toaster collecting book. These were used as Grill Cheese and other sandwich makers back in the day. I think these were made in the 1930's. Click on the pics to get a better view and more details.
Our annual Toaster Collectors Association convention was held in Rochester , Minnesota this year. There were toaster displays by the members, best in class toaster awards , best display awards & the ultimate award - best in show. We all had a great time & are looking forward to next year’s convention to be held in Columbus, Ohio.
Porcelier sets I’m working on trying to complete. These are hard to get especially in great condition.
This weekend was the annual Toaster Collectors convention. This year we were in Columbia, S.C. It was hosted by Dr. Ken Huggins & wife Cordie. These are some of the displays. The first picture of me with my Porcelier Gold Dot Set & my Toast-o-lators. The second picture is me with my toasters for sale. The dual action display was Richard Mock’s. It won Best Display. It featured toasters that toasted & also did something else. It was very impressive. Also featured are Eric Murrell & the Mathias displays.
