Grants for $250 are awarded each fall to educators who will be using the funds to help support students with autism in their classrooms. It is open to educators throughout New Mexico.

Free Sensory Screening for Autism Families!

Join us Sunday, December 17th at 10:30am for a free sensory-friendly screening of "Wonka" at Century Rio 24 in Albuquerque. Lights will be dimmed, sound lowered, and no previews.
Special sensory gift for each child and ASD individual thanks to Behavior Change Institute!

As a thank-you to our Educators, EAs, SLPs, OTs, PTs, and Social Workers, we are giving away 10 $250 grants to help support students Pre-K to 12th with autism in NM.

Please complete the application (located on our website) and submit along with 2 letters of reference and a brief explanation on how these funds will be used to support autistic students to: [email protected]

Ideas include: inclusive field trips, sensory items, adaptive items, teaching supports, and software!

Main Street, Las Cruces, NM 88001 at either 9 am or 1 pm for a DDC sponsored event on alternatives to guardianship. The event will feature information on alternatives to guardianship along with a legal clinic with attorneys to help write Powers of Attorney, Advance Directives, and Supported Decision-Making Agreements.
