Small Victories is a highly specific story. It is (at its core) about a Black Bisexual American Woman having one of the worst years of her life. The humor is offbeat. The narrative is non-traditional. Even the medium isn't the most popular thing. Some people say Hamlet is a universal story. This isn't that.

And yet over the 2 years we have been producing and distributing Small Victories, we have gained a highly diverse audience. We have listeners from over 70 countries. We have been selected in several festivals across four continents. We have passionate fans in Poland and Englad and India and Peru. And now we have 20,000 downloads too.

Small Victories may not have been conceived as a universal story, but if people from all over this wonderful world of ours can look at Marisol and see themselves then maybe it is.

Thank you to everyone who's listened and told a friend and then listened again.

20,000 Wow!
