It’s back! Our popular Nutmeg Fruit Bar- containing of course nutmeg, mace (the red spice covering the nutmeg) and crystalized nutmeg fruit (the outside flesh of the nutmeg candied like a sweet-lemon-nutmeg candied ginger).Once boiled in salt water and simmered in a simple syrup, the yellow flesh of the fruit turns orange. This is just one of our farm-grown seasonal offerings that change monthly.

Our heads were in the CLOUDS ☁️ all day on the farm.
100 +mph winds on the summit of Mauna Kea produced these jaw dropping lenticular clouds. And in the evening- a reverse sunset- with the sun setting behind the mountain created an eery and spectacular sky show!
Gotta love 💕 the Big Island 🏝️ of Hawaii. Land of extremes.
