The FPC is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of the port directors with staff support located in Tallahassee. The FPC provides research, leadership, advocacy and information on seaport-related issues before the legislative and executive branches of state and federal government. Fitch Ratings announced they have increased our rating to A+ and maintained our outlook at stable. This means the port's growth and financial stability has been recognized by one of the nation's largest credit rating agencies.

Port Tampa Bay is Florida's largest and most diverse port and has an economic impact of more than $17 billion and touches 85,000 direct and indirect jobs.
