Several visionary village leaders created GMFF with seed money from the Greater Menomonee Falls Committee, recognizing the need to organize a repository for funds donated by citizens for the betterment of the village of Menomonee Falls. The Foundation began in 1991 as a 501(c) (3) charitable organization with a board of nine trustees managing a community trust. The foundation helps donors realize

Happy International Volunteer Day!
The Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation and our community is supported by so many outstanding volunteers! Thank you for your time and service!
We celebrate our volunteers today.
International Volunteer Day started as an international observance mandated by the United Nations General Assembly in 1985. It's a day where volunteers are acknowledged and the spirit of volunteerism is promoted at the local, national and international levels.

Did you know that December 3 is International Day of Persons with Disabilities?
We would like to highlight two past grant recipients, Wisconsin Adaptive Sports Association (WASA) and Association for the Rights of Citizens with handicaps (ARCh) for their work to include youth in adaptive sports and summer camp at held at Menomonee Park.

Have you considered these 3 ways to give?
Through IRA required minimum distributions, Americans age 73 and older can make IRA contributions directly to public charities, such as the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation to help minimize their tax burden.
You can also donate stocks or mutual funds or name the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation through your will, trust, or beneficiary designation.
Please consult with your financial advisor to understand the tax implications of your charitable giving plans.

These fourteen area non-profit organizations received nearly $30,000 in grant funds from the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation.
With 2023 funds, the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation has awarded over $250,000 in grants in the last ten years.

Established in 1991, the Greater Menomonee Falls Foundation provides a platform for you to invest in meeting your community’s needs now and in the future.
To increase the impact on community needs, the Foundation pools and invests donors’ gifts.
Annual grants are given to civic groups who are striving to keep the Menomonee Falls strong and vibrant. Leadership awards honor those who have contributed to the benefit and betterment of the greater Menomonee Falls area and its citizens.
