Thyroid cancer and the related treatment is life altering yet often people are told that thyroid cancer is the “good cancer” and that surgery, radioactive iodine treatment and taking thyroid replacement hormone for the rest of your life is no big deal.. While many people do sail through surgery and treatment with few side effects and do well on a synthetic thyroid hormone replacement pill, many are challenged by the complexity and fragmentation of thyroid cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow up care.

ThyCa.org is an organization dedicated to “developing a network of services that link thyroid cancer survivors and health care professionals around the world. Our mission is simple:
