Its a Full Moon in Scorpio...The End of an Era ...The Symphony has played...Ciao Southern Oregon. After 44 years on the West Coast the time has come... the long and winding road leads me back...to move on down the line, East Coast homeward bound. As I approach the back nine of my life I'm moving on to a new adventure over Memorial Day, anchoring a wonderful home life, and to be closer in harmony with my birth family. As this phase of my life closes, the time has arrived to also explore new ideas and visions for my soul's growth.
Will be reconnecting and playing with old music friends, expanding Tama-Do sound and energy healing service opportunities for people in cancer recovery with a new Health / Life coaching platform www.vitalizeharmonizehealth.com , continuing Soundformation Qi Gong and creative and healing arts services for adults with disabilities through Options for Life Agency, Drum and Sound Healing Ceremonies at The Entheogen Institute, recording and producing new original music, facilitating Heart Rhythms community and school drumming programs. Feels like a personal renaissance.
My life has been a fascinating and exhilarating wanderlust run of peaks and valleys. Too many gigs to remember from one horse coal mining town bar bands to Air Supply at the Hong Kong Colosseum. 4O years in Los Angeles...I followed my dream. All the experiences challenges and gifts along the way leave me grateful and I have no regrets.
There's been lot of healing for me here in Ashland, and I've been blessed by some wonderful compassionate people who were really supportive when I was really in need in the covid chaos ...both here and in LA. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. ..you know who you are. Thank you to all the musicians for all the great music that we played, and to those of you who support the music. I gave it an open hearted whirl here in The Rogue Valley, and will take some great memories with me going forward.
Expansion and embracing change are not always the easiest nor simplest path, but it feels important and essential...and I certainly have mixed feelings in mustering up the courage to let go and move on. Confusion leads to clarity. Uncertainty to knowing...Such is life.
I've learned a lot of life lessons, most notably to honor my inner voice, and surround myself with people who value and respect my contributions. Anchoring business AND personal relationships in integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness makes for good karma.
Fulling accepting what is with people and circumstances will avoid suffering.
Take the love and leave the rest...Life is short... make it count.
