There are several ways to put tinsel in hair. This is one of them, but tell me, who wants beads like this in their hair? This poor girl used her own money to get fairy hair added and this is what she got. She said it looked like she had Pez candy stuck on her head. I agree! I tie one strand of tinsel to one strand of hair.

Yes you can go to your salon and get your hair colored, cut and deep conditioned with your fairy hair in. Today I did all three!! Guess what? I didn’t lose a strand.

Mermaid & Fairy Hair - Tinsel By Barbie Hello, I add sparkle to your life by putting Tinsel in your hair.

It’s always sad when Sparkles fall out, and it’s not unusual to lose a couple fairly quickly after application, only for the loss to slow down and become more gradual. So don’t panic if this happens to you! I put extras in for adult appointments anyway, so those ones are on me 😉✨

How Can I Book An Appointment?

Easy peasy. Just send me a text to 717-501-6730. We can talk about my and your availability.

How long will my fairy hair last?

It will last until that strand of hair falls out naturally. It can last months or a day...when you lose that hair, who can say. Shedding patterns are different for everyone!

Adults typically retain some Fairy Hair 3-6 months.

Can children get fairy hair?

I get asked all the time if I can put fairy hair in young children. Here is some information to answer that:

Fairy Hair works best in adult hair. It doesn't last as long in our younger clients because their hair follicles are not as mature. I like to give this disclaimer so you don't have high expectations, but there is always an exception to the rule! Many of our clients under the age of 10 rock their Fairy Hair for months!

Please note that Original Fairy Hair may only last 24 hours!
While I don't have a specific age for a child to receive Fairy Hair, there are two requirements that must be met in order for me to put it in:
- The child must be able to sit in the chair by themselves.
- The child needs to be able to sit still while receiving it.
- Children under the age of 10 typically start with 10 strands.(unless it's in a party environment)

I love doing children's hair, however I just want to make sure that both mom and the child are not disappointed if it doesn't last as long as they had hoped.

How do I prepare for my fairy hair appointment?

Arrive with hair that is brushed of loose or weak strands and tangles, clean, DRY, and WITHOUT hairspray, oil or product is best for your Fairy to work their magic.

How much does it cost?

It costs $3 per knotted strand
10 Knotted Strands - $30
15 Knotted Strands - $45
20 Knotted Strands - $60

How can I pay you for my fairy hair?

I take cash or Venmo.

What colors do you have?

I have all the colors of the rainbow (AND Rainbow)! I would love to help you find the perfect color to reflect your inner *SHINE* at the time of your appointment.

I’m about to get my hair done. Should I wait?

No need to but that’s totally up to you as Fairy Hair is attached to a single strand of hair. You can wash it, brush it, comb it, curl it, COLOR it, straighten it, blow it dry, keratin, blow out or get a haircut with it in.

How can I get free fairy hair?

Refer, refer, refer. For each person you refer, you get 5 free knotted strands of Fairy Hair.
