Sometimes the grind is hard...but I am blessed that while I share Adam's lot, of earning a living by the sweat of my brow, in the meantime I get to meet and serve some great people. Last week held the wedding film of JunFen Freihammer and Dominic Vilatte along with the First Mass capture of Father Jacob Martini. Yesterday between a couple jobs, I got to steal a quiet moment near a river in a small town in Iowa. This week, I head out to film for some Carmelite Nuns in Missouri. Deo Gratias

Here is a snapshot of some of my work from the past year. I used to overthink these highlights and spend days making a ton of decisions about what stays and what goes, combing through hard drives for the original files and making sure the highlight was as pixel-rich as possible. This year, I challenged myself not to overthink it, and to crank this out in 2 hours this morning. Though it wasn't as "perfect" as it may have been if I spent 12 hours on it, it felt better to make quicker decisions and to be pleased with the end product. I aim to make a DEMO reel of my skill to this point, highlighting all of my career's best shots thus far. Until then - I will keep the trend of highlighting the previous year. Thanks to all my clients and collaborators. It is a blessing to be able to make a living out of what just started as an experiment! Peace to you all in 2024

I always enjoy getting Christmas Cards. This year, 4 family portraits that I captured wound up on cards that came to our mailbox! It was a pleasure serving these guys and their beautiful families. With a few new prime lenses after the new year, I am looking forward to more opportunities like this!

I got to capture this Renovation Blessing Mass at St. Johns Catholic Newman Center at University of Illinois in October. What a gift that the people of God give our College Students an opportunity to encounter the beauty of the One True God on a secular campus
