The shift of seasons has us thinking about shade structures which is what we do best. Our Amelia tent is breezy, beautiful and packs a bigger bunch than a cluster of umbrellas if you ask us.

I had the pleasure of sitting down and chatting with my friend Anne about how we started Shelter Co. and the decisions we have made along the way to get us where we are today. Spoiler alert: it was just one hair brained idea after another…
I talk about our adventures in Idaho eclipse chasing with Virgin Galactic, building a custom semi permanent conference space with Google, and that time our entire truck load of tents was impounded on the way to an install.

Hey eclipse nerds. There’s another big one coming our way in April! We got to experience the last big one with in Tetonia, ID. This year the path of totality cuts up through Texas and up and over all the way to Maine. If you’ve never experienced a total eclipse it’s one of the coolest things we’ve seen. Might have to pop up a camp somewhere for this one. Who’s coming?
Hitting the 4th of July always comes with a sigh of relief because we’ve gotten through the first push of the season. But the next half is gonna be a doozy. Shelter Co. will be popping up all over the place including music festivals, weddings, and lots of corporate off sites. Can’t wait to see our next beautiful location.
BottleRock 2023 was maybe the best yet. We designed all 32 VIP suites for the ultimate viewing experience. Thanks to and for your vision. Can’t wait to see what next year brings! Thanks for the great pics and the gorgeous plants .
Eric doesn’t come with every Shelter Co. project but you’re lucky if he does. Super competent producer, master tent builder, and stone cold weirdo. Just how we like ‘em.
It doesn’t get much better than this. We do a fundraiser every year at Kirby Cove to benefit . Great organization. Epic location.
Our yearly warehouse sale has come early! Help us make room for our incoming inventory! Share with friends! Let’s make it a party! 577 Martin Ave in Rohnert Park CA. 3/3 & 3/4 10-4.
We love a cozy lounge space. Our Sami tents can be connected to accommodate any size group. With options for all walls up or all walls down and anything in between, they are the most versatile event tent on the market. Damn good looking too.
Did you know that Shelter Co. has an Airbnb on the Russian River? Spring and summer are filling up fast. Link in bio to book.
Here comes event season! We’ve got a pretty excellent lineup this year when it comes to clients and locations. Most of the team heads to Utah tomorrow for a big install and then it’s back to back madness after that. Hoping we get to return to this gem of a property sooner than later.
All nestled in with 68 of her friends for a few days in the woods. We love a corporate retreat in the middle of nowhere.
End of summer river fun.
Feel so lucky to get to work in places like this. Colorado you have our heart.
Our team is in Colorado this week producing one of our larger events of the year. 7 trucks, 25 Shelter Co. peeps, and a whole bunch of tents. Not a bad spot to be stuck for two weeks. Photo by our own .
