Today is the birthday of my younger sister Tammy, the true artist of the family and inspiration for Going Insane Streetwear, who passed away back in 1997. I haven’t done a memorial piece for her since 2017, but for some reason I felt like doing a little something this year. This is a piece I just finished today. I know she would have done a MUCH better job, but I also know she would have appreciated my efforts. Just wanted to let her know she is loved and missed everyday. #

I had to make a quick stop at McCully Bike, and parked next to this TIGHT piece by Braddah Retsy! His style of controlled chaos always makes for a bad-ass complex piece!!! #

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending Carissa Moore’s book signing of her newly released book Hawai’i Gold! She first conducted a live interview in which she was asked about the various inspirations toward creating her book, and what she is trying to share through her book. And as usual, Miss Riss was fantastic, primarily because she is such a genuine person and always speaks from her heart with a poise and presence far beyond her years. As I always say, Carissa Moore is the complete package, and the greatest athlete Hawai’i has ever produced! And those are some heavy words being that Hawai’i has produced many great athletes! Thank you again Miss Riss for the autographs and photos!!! #

Had to come up with a quick statement for this pair of canvas Cons. I thought “Allergic To Bullsh*t” was BOLD, FUNNY, and pretty much how I felt at the moment!!! I like it! Maybe we’ll use it on a shirt design too! #

It’s the skate rats piece by Katch1. Another bad-ass work of art at Kalihi Kai Elementary! I been a fan of Katch1 since I saw his 2016 Obake Geisha scene on the wall next to Office Max on Ala Moana Blvd. To this day, that is my all time favorite masterpiece on the island! #
