Documenting or journaling your fitness progress may seem like an extra step in your already busy routine, but trust me, it's worth it.

Not only does it help you track your progress, but it also builds consistency in your fitness journey.

When you write down your workouts, whether it's the number of reps, sets, or weights, you have a tangible record of what you've accomplished.

This not only serves as motivation to keep going, but it also allows you to see how far you've come.

It's easy to forget how much progress we've made when we're constantly looking ahead at our goals.

But when you have a written record, you can look back and see the improvements you've made, which can be incredibly satisfying and encouraging.

Have you heard of the 80/20 rule of flexible dieting?

If not, let me break it down for you. It's a simple concept that can make a big impact on your overall health and wellness.

Basically, the 80/20 rule suggests that 80% of your diet should consist of whole, nutrient-dense foods, while the remaining 20% can be reserved for more indulgent, "junk" foods.

This means that the majority of your meals and snacks should be made up of whole grains, lean proteins, fruits, vegetables, and healthy fats.

These foods provide your body with the essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients it needs to function at its best.

But let's be real, we all have cravings for those not-so-healthy treats every now and then.

And that's where the 20% comes in.

By allowing yourself to indulge in moderation, you can satisfy those cravings without completely derailing your healthy eating habits.

Plus, it can help prevent feelings of deprivation and promote a more sustainable approach to healthy eating.

Now, this doesn't mean you should go crazy and eat junk food for every meal.

The key is to listen to your body and find a balance that works for you.

So next time you're planning your meals, remember the 80/20 rule and aim to make the majority of your choices whole, nutrient-dense foods.

But don't be afraid to treat yourself every now and then.

After all, life is all about balance.

One of the more bizarre things we saw last week was a "product defect" that was sent back to us.
