Valdosta City Schools will remain closed through Tuesday, August 6, 2024 as our community works to recover from the damages caused by Tropical Storm Debby. Several members of the Wildcat family are still without power, as are some of our schools, and we have reports of water in some of our buildings.
We will continue to monitor further impacts of the storm as it is still slowly passing through our community. Please stay off the roads and stay safe.
All schools and offices of Valdosta City Schools will be closed on Monday, August 5, 2024 as we anticipate severe weather conditions associated with Tropical Storm Debby.
Download our Valdosta City Schools app and turn on notifications to receive the latest information as it is sent out. It is available on the App Store or Google Play Store by searching Valdosta City Schools. We also encourage our families to follow Lowndes County Emergency Management on Facebook at EMA Lowndes for up to date information as it pertains to Tropical Storm Debby and its impacts to our immediate area.
Please stay safe!
We encourage parents to complete the SPED Transportation Registration. To ensure your child remains safe in the case of an emergency, please complete with your current information. You can scan the QR code or use the link below:
