A team of researchers at West Texas A&M University, in collaboration with the Center for Learning Disabilities, is conducting a study. The study focuses on understanding the lived experience of parents of children diagnosed with Specific Learning Disabilities. The research has been approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB #2023.11.003).

If you agree to participate in the research study, you will be asked to complete a survey. The survey will take anywhere between 10 to 20 minutes. Participants can agree to participate in a 60 to 90-minute interview in the Demographic section.

Compensation: The first 33 participants who complete the surveys and the interview with member checking (reviewing the interview after transcription to make any required changes) will be offered a three-month Audible membership. The next 33 participants who complete the surveys will be offered a one-month Audible membership.

If you are interested in participating in the study, please click the link below. This link will take you to 2-4 initial survey questions. If you meet the criteria for participation in the study, you will receive informed consent followed by the survey questions.
