A few fun photos from the fashion show I produced, emcee'd, and showed designs in for the Goodwill fundraiser gala a couple of weeks ago. Talullah modeled for me and for Classic Reclaim and Mayume D Mayra.

What fun we had at the Goodwill Fundraiser last night!

My daughter was one of the models who wore my upcycled Tshirt dresses along with other upcycled items from Classic Reclaim and Mayume Designs.

I emcee'd and got to showcase designs from some of the best local upcyclers including Bye Frisbie and With Death Comes Life.

Can't wait to share some of the professional photos when I get my hands on them.

Vivienne Westwood, fashion designer and style icon, dies at 81 British fashion designer and style icon Vivienne Westwood has died aged 81. She passed away peacefully at her home in London on Thursday, according to an official statement from her eponymous company.

Last night was the grand opening of my fashion incubator FABRIC's new retail concept called WEAR which is a collective of fashion makers. Each designer has their own space inside and share responsibility in the operations. We printed custom backdrops for each brand as well.

FABRIC has its own collection now too which I designed. The whole thing is a Trompe L'oeil print referencing industry sewing, pattern, and sketch markings...including the backdrop. My beautiful daughter Talullah makes the perfect model for this collection.

The grand opening was a huge success and the designers sold lots of product so I didn't get a chance to capture many photos but follow Fabric and we'll be sharing everything the designers shared soon.

We headed down to First Friday tonight to check out the opening reception for all of the artwork inside the hotel and as we drove up, I was surprised to discover my pieces were chosen for the outside window on Cental Ave!!!
