October is here tomorrow, where did September go? October menus are in, and so is our first in-service no school for students day of the new school year on Friday October 29.

In honor of national hot dog day, our lunch service will be serving hot dogs, oven baked chips, baked beans, chilled fruit choice, low fat milk choice and a choice of cookie!!! A side note as we are in Wisconsin the heart of Brat Country, at our high school our students will get a choice between a hot dog or brat. Who is on team hot dog and who is on team brat, it is always an interesting topic😀🌭

Only 7 days into the school year and our freshly grown romaine lettuce in our green machine is sprouting tall just like our students! Only a few more weeks and this tasty, crisp fresh lettuce will be on our students lunch service. Please encourage all our students to check out the machine that is near our kitchen in the elementary/middle school building.

Wow!!! These little romaine lettuce seeds really want to become tasty, fresh crisp lettuce to be eaten and enjoyed by our students. They have sprouted and are in our green machine growing as I write this. We encourage students to check out the progress each school day.

I know it doesn't seem like much to look at now, but in just a few weeks these seeds will be fully grown fresh romaine lettuce grown in our hydro garden and then served in our lunch service for all our students to enjoy.

Spring is here and so are April 2021 Pittsville School District and Pittsville Child Care Center menus!!! I hope everyone enjoys their spring break and the warmer weather it is bringing.
