Day three or four for the teen knife making summer camp experience is in the books! Definitely a busy day doing some rough grinding, drilling holes, prepping wood handles, and quenching the steel! Tomorrow is our last day and it is looking like this class is going to make some really nice looking blades!

Just wrapped up day two of four for the teen knife making summer camp experience this week! A lot of great rough profiled blades. We will be starting the grinding tomorrow as we inch our way to the finish line. We will wrap up the day tomorrow with some heat treated blades and ready for final assembly on Thursday!

This has definitely been a great group of kids to hang out with for the week!

What a treat it was to hang out with Javi yesterday! He did such an awesome job making a chef knife!

If you ever make it to Cancun, and head over to Las Mujeres Island, please definitely consider visiting Javi's Cantina Restaurant Bar. Javi was such a blast to talk to! He is such an incredible musician and food artist. I am definitely planning to visit Cancun and enjoy an awesome dinner and evening of entertainment with him one of these days!

It was an exciting day this past saturday. We had our very first class in our new location at 25421 highway 181, unit 106 in Daphne!

Had a bunch of great folks come and enjoy a 9 hour intro to knife making class! Had a couple travel from tennessee, a couple from Destin, one from biloxi, a couple from Milton and one or two locally. It is always so humbling and enjoyable to meet people from all over!

It was definitely a very special night last night hosting five couples from the vet center in Mobile. Thank you for such an enjoyable evening and the opportunity to host you all!

It was an honor having a few veterans from the vet center and their service dog join us this past week! Had an opportunity to do something different and make some trivets!

What a great date night last night!

We just wrapped up and another super fun homeschool class! This class was called blacksmithing entrepreneurship. The kids learn about creating a product, market research, business expenses and a whole bunch of other stuff! They did a fantastic job and really made some very cool pieces. I even learned a thing or two along the way as well!

Had another really awesome date night a couple weekends ago! Always an honor and so much fun to meet new people and just enjoy making knives together!
