Miami commissioners voted last week to reduce property tax rates. Did you know about this? Under the new budget, the total mileage rate for the city is falling from 8.03 in 2018 to 7.99 this year.
Taxable values increased by 10.5% in 2019 when new constructions are included while existing values increased by 4.5%.
The neighboring coastal cities with a concentration of high-value properties also enjoy a lower mileage rate than the city of Miami.
Experts say crime rates in Miami are now also the lowest in the last 50 years.

The average annual appreciation will be 3.2% in the next 5 years.

What does this mean for you?

The Ultra Music Festival is heading to downtown Miami again!
The festival, which attracts thousands of locals and visitors dressed in colorful costumes to listen to electronic dance music, returns to Miami and this has been a cause for great celebration among contemporary teenagers and adults.
The new dates for the electronic festival will be on March 2020.
On social media, the Ultra organizers used the hashtag and shared the news of their return in a video that subtitled: "Miami, we are coming home."
