This is so tragic. I’m still trying to process it quite frankly. We knew Erv’s surgery didn’t go well, but this was completely unexpected. And to lose Gene at the same time is absolutely devastating. Erv and Gene have been family friends for a long, long time - since the beginning. Our thoughts and prayers are with Erv’s family, Gene’s family and with George and all the guys in the band. A band is a family and they’ve lost two brothers. R.I.P. Erv and Gene

Had a marvelous time luxuriating in all things Ives during a recent visit to the extraordinary reconstruction of his CT studio at the American Academy of Arts and Letters. Many thanks to the Academy for letting us have a peak and making us feel so welcome. (NB On the Redding schedule “Hard work” precedes “Farm work” 🎼😎)

Happy New Year! I just wanted to take a minute and sincerely thank each and every one of you for enormous support by following me on all of my channels, leaving such lovely comments and for enjoying my work. I am so incredibly grateful and humbled. This has been such a precarious time for artists and your support means the world to me. There are so many exciting projects in the works that I can’t wait to share with you. Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2022!

Just moments before I went on stage at , I took this with our lovely backstage attendant, Darrelle. I’m so incredibly grateful and extremely humbled that we sold out that night and all of the credit goes to all the fabulous people that attended my concert! Thank you so much for your tremendous generosity and heartwarming support! I am sincerely touched that even in these difficult and unpredictable times, you still wanted to come spend an evening with me at my Carnegie Hall debut ❤️ So, here’s to my forthcoming concerts in 2022! 🎹
