Ms. Godin's Classroom
A school page where parents and families can see what their child is doing at school
Harper, one of my fourth grade students has kept the class entertained by her short films all year long. This is her final one for this school year and her first try at stop motion filming. It is very well done! Thanks Harper! Enjoy All!
What a lovely lunch! We had our lunch picnic style! Everyone had fun! Lots of laughs! Thanks to parents for providing blankets!
Today is National SuperHero Day and today one of the 4th graders stepped into that role!
This morning, a wolf spider (once again) made its way into our classroom! Thank Goodness it wasn't as big as last years specimen.
Our Superhero of the day, Connor, grabbed a plastic cup and a folder, trapped it and scooped it up and Mrs. Toth took it and released it outside! Sorry I didn't get a pic of it, but (shudder) it was big.
For this art project, students were given a circle, asked to fold them into fourths and then create a pattern on each section. After they were done, the circles were cut into fourths and reassembled randomly to create a new circle. These are the results!
Bringing Spring into the building!
Students were asked to draw a portrait of what they think they will look like at 100!
These Beauties showed up for our 100th day of school! Shocking how my students aged overnight!!! Perhaps too much homework?
In Mrs. Maher's music class today, students composed their own songs for boomwhackers, arranging them and then conducting them for each other to play!
I have attached the link to a Reader's Theatre, 4th grade presentation of The Baker's Dozen ( story retold by Aaron Shepard)
