My name is Phillip Tyler. I am 29 years old. I was saved and asked Jesus into my heart when I was 11 years old. Even though I chose to go the opposite way of His path, He has never left me. Through my own decisions and my addictions I have been to many places I did not want to go: prison three times; six treatments; and I just finished a 3 year prison sentence. I felt hopeless; my addiction caused me terrible pain even while locked up. I was constantly in trouble and ended up isolated from the rest of the population and placed in Segregation. That's when I cried out to Jesus in complete desperation, my spirit was totally broken. From that day on God started working in my life. When I got back to general population, I got into treatment by a complete act of God. I started going to church, praying, and reading my Bible. My head was clear because I wasn't using anymore, so I could hear God's whispers to help me make the right choices to carry out His will for my life. By the grace of God my life has been completely changed today! This month on the 15th I will have been clean and sober for 10 months. The Lord opened the doors to get me into Midwest Challenge. Since being here I have enrolled in college full time starting this fall. I will be majoring in "addiction counseling" to help others overcome their problems. Jesus has given me the strength to overcome my past and I can help others do the same. He is transforming me as I walk with Him daily. My sister, who has been separated from me since I was 5 years old, is now in contact with me by Him answering prayers. The Lord is restoring my life today. Today I have hope and a future as long as I keep Jesus first. I have faith and I know that I can do ALL things through Christ! I am so grateful for Jesus Christ - He saved my life.

Good Morning Brothers and Sisters and Happy Motivation Monday! I had a blast at the Life Rebuilders BBQ. I’m encouraged by these two men in this photo. They encouraged me from the beginning to step up and out for Jesus and that God had a plan for me. When I was released Ronald and Gary really gave me hope and support! By the Grace of God, this year I celebrated 12 years of recovery and 11 years of freedom from incarceration. Never would I have thought I could make it a month let alone over 12 whole years of one day at a time living! I am overwhelmed with gratitude and humility for these two men of God that motivated, encouraged, and took the time to show me they believed in me. Nothing happens by mistake . I am so grateful God put them in my life to help me see the light. Without them, I would honestly be either dead or locked up. They say β€œGod does for us what we cannot do for ourselves” is so true! God showed me His Love and His Path through the people He put in my life. I am so thankful for the spiritual mentorship these men gave me. I know God worked through all them to help me get back on track and in His will! When we humble ourselves and start to take suggestions from other’s we grow tremendously! When God places people in your life don’t take it for granted Let yourself be sharpened by one another! As always it’s Hope to the Hopeless! β˜€οΈβ˜ΊοΈπŸ«ΆβœοΈ πŸ’™πŸ’ͺπŸ˜‡

Good Evening Brother’s and Sister’s. When you see someone who has wicked ways, don't make them feel low of themselves. As Christian's we must show them that Jesus can set them free and show them love because that's what they need instead of being harsh to them. We are not perfect and that's why we need Jesus, they need Jesus also but they are just deceived. Help them find Jesus and help them change and if they don't listen then at least you planted the seed. Our Hope is in Him always! Hope to the Hopeless! πŸ’™βœοΈπŸ’ͺ
