This is Connor, a model with Academie Agencie Doesn't he look like he'll be a future millionaire or leader!?
It was a rainy day, so we had to work with lights indoors, but that allowed me to play with a shot like this. I couldn't resist some color grading and going for a bit of a vintage feel.
It has been a while since I've done a shoot like this. I've never stopped collaborating with the Academie Agencie, but I've mostly been behind the scenes and letting my students and former students take the lead.
This has been a year of transition and I've decided it is time to focus my photography on things that I enjoy as opposed to a lot of the "jobs" I've done in the last several years. I'm unsure where it will lead, but I know it will need to allow my creativity to be the focus.
So, I guess, stay tuned :)
Last game of the season for the Watertown Rebels. It has been my honor to photograph this team for several years. Their passion for the game is unrivaled.
Processed these as as it gives the right vibe.
Are you as passionate as the Rebels? Give me a shout if you need photography. Maybe I can help.
With summer football I don’t have to worry about snow, but there is typically a couple of games in oppressive heat. Super bright sun in my face, very windy and 90+ degrees, but still fun to be out working. The Rebels won an important game against the undefeated Wildcats. I decided a black and white treatment was good on this one.
A few of my favorite shots from yesterday’s Rebel’s game at the Sioux Empire Crusaders
The game didn’t go our way, but I still enjoy photographing the Watertown Rebels.
Getting ready for the next photo gig. Watertown Rebels kickoff at 4:00 pm
Happy to be photographing Mt Marty (Watertown) graduation this morning.
My favorite photo from the Rebels vs Bulldogs SPFL game yesterday. Somewhere around 40 degrees, driving rain and wind. Unpleasant photo conditions for sure. So, this gritty photo represents that. Played in Willow Lake due to flooded field in Watertown. The Rebels won 14-8
Fun to make product shots like this.
A lens flare assignment was driving me nuts before break, especially since I’ve done it before! Had to revisit to create a new diagram for my students. Thanks again to for the assist.
This is Belle, another super fun model from
Another great day of working with models from the The model meeting theme was a fitness look. Savannah did an outstanding job.
Just have to love the intensity of athletes! I have the privilege to be the team photographer for the Watertown Rebels Football team.
Love looking at different perspectives of things. Here is a photo of a jet at the Watertown Regional Airport Fly ATY on a job with . Looking forward to working with more area businesses. Need new content? Shoot a message!
Great evening with friends listening to live music at The Goss Opera House. Been a long wait. I took a few breaks to photograph the musicians as well. Tigirlily was awesome!
I absolutely love photographing musicians and the Goss is, of course, near and dear to my heart. Sound, lights and looks better than ever.
