Dr. Mina always knew it was his calling to help other people reach their goals, largely through health and well-being. For him, this initially meant an interest in psychiatry, understanding the human mind, motivation and behaviors. It wasn’t until he’d completed his psychology and pre-med degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee that his perspective began to change. “I realized that the standard health model is wonderful for treating many severe cases—heart attacks, infections, ruptures and organ failures—but it did a very poor job preventing them in the first place,” he says. “I didn’t like the idea that we have to wait till a problem arises to treat it.”

Dr. Mina genuinely believed, and still does, that health isn’t a destination but a journey, and that we can all live a healthy, fulfilling lifestyle if we learn how to prevent instead of “fix.” This realization led him to a decision; he didn’t want to be a doctor that treats the problem after it’s too late. He wanted to be the doctor that detects the root cause of an issue as soon as it manifests, treating it right away. After doing some research, he found chiropractic—a way he could help people feel better, get healthier and find results without drugs or surgery.

In practice, it’s Dr. Mina’s personal mission to be the bridge that brings people from where they are now to where they want to be. “I think that we all need to live a life we are proud of,” he says. “Everyone has a definition of that, and that is what makes this world so beautiful and colorful.” As a healer, he aims to help fuel that beauty and color by making sure his patients feel and function their best. This way, they have nothing holding them back from living their happiest, most authentic lives.

In his free time, Dr. Mina loves camping, hiking, star-gazing and cooking Mediterranean food. He really enjoys ending a good, productive day playing board games with his friends, having meaningful conversation while sharing a meal together.
