Alpha: 1084 Rasp, Ebony, Brass Liners, and Mosaic Star Pins with 150,000psi Epoxy. I made this to pay my leathercrafter for all the fine sheaths he makes. This is a custom Alpha "Bowie Knife". Cheers!

Honing two Badger this weekend for two good friends, Andrew and Jack. More to come. Cheers!

Here are some of the projects I have been working on; Badger with Iron Wood handle, Badger with Elk handle, and WildcatXL with Striped G10 handle jimped. Cheers!

My first conversion of an old axe into a Viking style, bearded axe. Custom hickory handle, burned and oiled, looks period. Very fun project!

The Goblin: Meant to hang on a wall, this blade was made from the same materials as any other; 1084 high carbon steel (from a farrier's rasp), elk antler, nickel-silver pins, red G-10 liners, and 150,000psi epoxy. Now, off to leather for this beast. Cheers!

I'm about to put the final edge on these two, for the Eds. Took me a while to complete the elk handles, but I'm happy. Nice saddle leather sheaths should last until these guys are too old to carry the knives. Cheers!

I'm making two knives for my friends Ed and Ed. The handles are pinned and they'll be off to leather soon. Thanks for being patient guys! Ed Cordle Edwin Nighbert Cheers!

COPPERHEAD: One of my favorite file knives, the new version has stag handles and G10 liners. It's pretty and useful in the field.

Working on a special project today. This steel was designed and made by my late uncle; one of the people who helped me learn how to use tools as a kid. I remember him making this when I was very young. It's a huge throwing knife. The handle was broken, so I replaced it with some nice curly maple. It will hang in my shop as a memorial to Uncle Jim Bowe.

I have a few ready to ship out and some for leather.

Two more blades off to leather. The Badger (Mark III) and an experimental blade with layered G10 handles. I have 5-6 at leather right now. We should have some happy people soon. Zackary Staples might recognize the experimental blade. It started life as junk steel on his shop floor. Cheers!

The ALPHA: All my skill and experience has gone into my first "Bowie" style knife, The ALPHA. Better steel (1084), teak handles and brass pins; nothing extra and nothing fancy. Perfectly balanced, the 7" blade is light and can be easily used for working around the camp or home. Patrick Lane and his young family should find many uses in the field. I love making blades and tools for my friends and family. But it's a real thrill to make one for a Colony boy. Now, off to leather for some pants. Happy Memorial Day!

We have a few new projects under way. You might see your future blade sitting here with a rough grind (specifically if you're someone who has waited over a year for your knife). Wait till they're done. About two more months and I'm taking new orders. Cheers!

The Coyote is one of my most popular designs. 1095 steel from an old American made file, resin handles and brass pins. This is my first 100% resin handle.
