Chrissy McIntyre, a collage & mixed media artist from New Jersey, found her artistic niche in creating eclectic pieces, ranging from landscapes to pet portraits 🎨After experimenting with various art forms, Chrissy stumbled upon collage when she playfully cut up a magazine one day. The positive reception of her work during a Studio Tour convinced her that others might appreciate it too 🙂
Chrissy received a touching portrait of her dog from her sister-in-law. Inspired by this heartfelt gift, Chrissy embarked on creating her own dog portrait that she subsequently exhibited along with a collection of other collage ideas. The positive response was overwhelming – her dog portrait sold, and she secured a commission for another portrait 🐶 Chrissy had finally discovered her perfect creative outlet 🖼️

The last day at Asbury Fresh Sunday hits different – a mix of bitter and sweet. You get used to running into certain vendors every week, sometimes even twice, and everyone starts to get intertwined.
Sure, there's the usual small talk, but seeing each other week after week, some for years now, you get to know each other in a different way.
It's not uncommon for someone to be having a bad week and other vendors console them. Or everyone helping each other out when a rouge wind scatters products all over the ground and tosses your tent over 😕
Back in the Covid days, these market moments were pretty much the only human interactions some of us had all week. Going through a season together pulls you together like some kind of quirky family you never knew you needed.
As the park cleared out today, a few vendors stuck around. We shared laughs, swapped stories, hugged a bunch, and yeah, even shed a few tears. A snapshot of the weird, tight unit we become year after year.
Thank you to all of our vendors. Even if you just spent one Sunday in the park, we appreciate you.

If you are the owner DM us with some identifying information 👋 This dog (and his owner) are heroes as far as we are concerned 😍!
