This product is the concept and creation of Dean Harvey of HORN CHASERS, INC. Dean has a special forces military background, a commercial helicopter pilot, and has a great love for America and Hunting. This tactical mindset played a huge part in conceiving the idea for Rutt-Gear Trail Marker Lights. While other products were being used for this purpose, none gave the hunter the ability to reach their tree-stand without using a flashlight and blowing their cover. As you would expect, every aspect of this product has a purpose and a use.

MULTI-USE PRODUCT
This product was designed for hunters, but it’s usefulness was an instant success for many other industries: Fishing, Camping, Hiking, Search & Rescue, Emergency, etc. Bottom line: Never go into the woods without them. It can get dark fast! They can help you find your way to your stand, or help you get out of the woods safely.

SIZE AND COLOR
We wanted the product to be useful during the day and night. The size and color helps it to be seen during the day even when the light isn’t activated. The design was brought to life by the best mold making and plastic injection company in the southeast.Diversified Mold Injection Company.

WATER RESISTANT
The product is made to resist water so that normal weather conditions (rain, dew, etc) will not affect it’s ability to function. Note that while it is water resistant to weather, it should not be submerged underwater.

NEW LDR PHOTOCELL TECHNOLOGY
To conserve battery life, our lights use UV technology to turn on the light only when needed—at night. This allows the trail light to work for up to 100 days before changing the batteries. You will also notice that when indoors, the light turns on; because UV is not detected indoors. This helpful when testing the light and batteries.

MINIATURE LED COLORED BULB
These lights come in two different colors: Red and Green. This allows you differentiate between the trail and the destination. At the end of the trail, you can use the Red light to indicate your final hunting spot.

ON & OFF SWITCH
The on and off switch helps you conserve battery-life and testing when storing or indoors.

CHANGEABLE AA BATTERIES
By using standard AA batteries, we were able to increase the battery-life and make it easier for customers to purchase and change the batteries for future use.
