We are all looking for serenity and a feeling of peacefulness, especially in these trying times. Now there is strong empirical evidence that just one 60-minute float can greatly improve both of these feelings. Researcher Dr. Justin Feinstein asked 50 participants to fill out an extensive mental health survey just before and after taking a 60-minute float. Every one of the 50 participants reported an increase in serenity and nearly ¼ maxed out the scale post-float. Just as impressive were changes in the other measures of mental health. These participants also reported increases in the following positive measures:
