Yearly PSA!! The temps are dropping and there is a great way to keep baby warm, comfortable, and sleeping safely! Use a SLEEP SACK!

💤Use over regular pajamas/clothes to replace loose blankets.
💤Remind all caregivers to place baby down for sleep on their back.
💤Roomy sack design allows baby to have range of motion.
💤Use appropriate sized sleep sack per child's weight and height.
💤Sack design helps lessen the likelihood for baby's legs to get caught in crib rails.

Don't forget to change your clocks back 1 hour before bedtimes tonight!

02/11/2022

Daylight Saving Time is ending soon, so that means the clock moves back 1 hour! An extra hour of sleep, right? Hope so! But if you have young children, it may not be as simple as that. Read on for some tips on how to make the most of this transition, and keep little ones from getting too tired.

💤Start this week by adjusting wake ups, naps, and bedtimes later in 15 minute increments to slowly work towards achieving a “normal” sleep time once the time switch occurs. By making small changes each day this week, young children won’t be so overtired, and when Sunday arrives, the new clock change won’t be such a shock to their bedtime sleeps.

💤Keep the room dark to enable a solid sleep environment, and counter any day light that occurs with the time change. Adjust any bedroom clocks accordingly the night before on Saturday evening, so the clock is correct on Sunday morning for wake up!

💤Next week, it may take a few days for children to adjust to the new time change, so be sure to offer snuggles, quiet time, and remain consistent in your sleep times to help little ones adjust and get back on track!
