SGQ so graciously allowed us to tag along this past weekend for their concerts in Alabama and as my brother, Bob, would say, "We had a ball"!

Come join us as we sing our last concert with our sweet sister Jen before she returns back to her solo ministry! You can help us with some good old goodbye hugs for Jen and some welcome hugs for Stacey Leanne Somers.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven. This is scripture
from Ecclesiastes 3:1. When Scripture declares that for everything there is a season, this means
that the various circumstances we go through in life are not by incident, but orchestrated or
allowed by God with great purpose and intentionality. We say all that to say this, it is a bittersweet time for New Day, as we announce that Jennifer Warren after much deliberation and prayer has felt a calling to leave the group and pursue her solo ministry. For the last 8 years, Jennifer has been faithful to her calling and we, as a group, have been so blessed to have her be a part of us. We are heart broken that she is leaving us, yet thankful for our many miles travelled together and we know that God will continue to use her in a mighty way. We will forever be grateful for Jennifer’s time and devotion to New Day. She has been and will always be a much-loved and respected member of this family. We all understand the calling of ministry in varying capacities. We are fully supportive of Jennifer and her new endeavor!
The Lord has been so good to New Day and we want to let you all know that this ship will continue to sail. Our daughter, Stacey Somers, will be joining us on our travels and we are so excited as we look forward to our future concerts. She is no stranger to gospel music and has been filling in on many occasions with New Day. Stacey started travelling on a bus with a gospel group when she
was 3 weeks old and she has always loved southern gospel music. We are confident that you will be blessed as she sings her way into your heart!
