CITC Open House (21 April 2023)

Many thanks to Cori Gerlitz, Executive Director of the CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY TRAINING COUNCIL OF COLORADO INC (CITC), for the invitation to see their amazing new training facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Thanks, as well, to Casey Weekley, contagiously fired-up Carpentry instructor, for the very informative tour. Great people and fantastic event!

With dedicated classrooms and labs for each of their supported trades, Denver-area CITC apprentices (Years 1 through 4) now have a world-class facility in which to learn and apply their craft:
- Carpentry - Electrical - Masonry - Pipefitting - Plumbing - Sheet Metal

CITC also has a growing presence in Colorado Springs...even more reason for us to be excited about a MAVericks Construction partnership with CITC as we finalize plans for a pre-apprenticeship training program. More soon about this...

We took a Chance…

…but we gave him back! Transitioning Air Force firefighter Chance Edwards recently completed an 8-week internship with MAVericks Construction as part of the DoD SkillBridge program. He was able to try his hand at a wide variety of construction trades and is now enrolled in Intellitec’s Electrical Technician program using his hard-earned GI Bill benefits.

We wish Chance and his family the very best, and we thank him for his continued service to our nation.
